Angelo Joseph Mazzei, 92, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away July 6, 2022 at Harford Memorial Hospital.

Born in New York City on May 25, 1930, Angelo was the son of the late Genaro and Rose Colello Mazzei. He worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground as an engineer. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1564 in Havre de Grace, the Sons of Italy, the YMCA and enjoyed yoga. He was a volunteer for many years at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air.

He is survived by his daughter Sabrina of Berlin, MD; his son, John and his wife Elizabeth of Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren; and a brother Gerald Mazzei. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra and two sons.

A memorial service celebrating Angelo's life will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Friday July 29, 2022 at 11:00 am. With a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Angel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
