Anita L. Ballance
Anita Louise (Price) Ballance, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009, at 72 years of age.
She was born in Rising Sun, to the late Thomas and Rachel Ayers Price.
For 13 years she had been the faithful wife to Charles Ballance. She was the loving mother of Jamie Lynn Martin-Wilson of Abingdon, MD, and the late James "Boe" Martin Jr., and the mother-in-law to Brett Wilson. She is survived by her granddaughter Jasmine Eve Cook, and other grandchildren; Carol Ann and Charlie Litchfield, and Mikayla Hodges. Anita loved her surviving sisters Stella Trent, Emily Grove, Linda Hierstetter, Caroline Tillman, and Debbie Eller.
Mrs. Ballance was a long time property manager for BCH Realty. She loved flowers, gardening, photography, and water views. She also enjoyed working on genealogy projects. She will be lovingly remembered by her radiant smile, beauty, and warm personality.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12, at 6:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD, 21078. Tom Hodges will officiate.
