Archer W. Bullock, Sr., 73, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy L. (Welch) Bullock. Archer was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late William A. and Blanche E. (Lewis) Bullock. Archer is also survived by three children: Cynthia J. Bullock, Patricia M. Long, and her husband Joseph Long, and Archer W. Bullock, Jr., and his wife Sarah Bullock, as well as by nine grandchildren: Joshua Long, Matthew Lippy, Morgan Easter, Jordan Long, Rebecca Bullock, Daniel Bullock, Michael Bullock, Abigail Bullock and Benjamin Bullock, in addition to Kayla Armacost, who was loved like a granddaughter. He was the brother to Donald Garland, Frank Garland, the late Bruce Garland, the late David Bullock, and the late Lawrence Bullock. Archer was a member of Faith City Family Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing chess and singing karaoke. He was a member of the American Legion in Aberdeen, the VFW in Havre de Grace, and the Elks Lodge in Havre de Grace. Archer was a veteran of the United States Army. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 5 to 6 pm. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, followed by a memorial visitation from 6 to 7 pm.
