Betty Jane "Babe" Earls, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 14, 2024. She was 73 years old.
Mrs. Earls was born in Colora, Maryland to the late James Caldwell and Ethel Greer Caldwell on July 1, 1950. Betty was the dedicated and devoted wife to the late Floyd "PapPap" Earls.
"Babe" loved taking care of "her kids", watching many of them grow up in the area, and ALWAYS being there for them through adulthood. Betty adored being with her family, and researching genealogy. She really enjoyed trying new recipes, and making her pumpkin rolls and apple cakes for her loved ones at Thanksgiving and Christmas time. Betty truly loved her husband, family and "her kids", and dedicated her life to loving and ALWAYS being there for them. The difference she made in their lives, and the love she had for them was immeasurable.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, and cousins Harold "Butch" Barker, Jimmy Barker, Carl Logan and her best friend and cousin, Helen Logan. Betty is survived by numerous cousins: Jimmy & Dawn Logan; Brenda Logan & Lewis; Terry & Donnie Bowlen; Cindy & Mike Boyd; Tony Logan; Tanya & Nathan Christley; and Vicki White and their families. Babes "kids": Fred Tompson wife Anita, their children Brooke & Tanner; Joanna Murray and her son Jimmy Crabbe; Tommy Meehan and his sons Tommy & Jarred; John Meehan wife Jen, their children Katie and Quintin; Tommy Scearce wife Kathryn; the late Kevin Scearce and his son Nathan; Jordan and Derek Pentz.
A service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD where Mrs. Betty Jane "Babe" Earls will be eternally laid to rest with her husband Floyd "PapPap" Earls.
