Betty "Louise" Herbert Tennesen


Betty "Louise" Herbert Tennesen, aka "Weezee", age 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 4:19 p.m., surrounded by the love of her husband and children at the home of her daughter, Teena Cardoni of Essex, Maryland.

She battled lung cancer for the past 2½ years - fighting hard and accepting with great hope, every single remedy made available to her.

Louise was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Helena Hall Adams and Melvin Adams; her father, Roy Herbert; her brother, Thomas Herbert; her daughter, Robin Bolen Jones and most recently by her youngest son, Robert Bolen Jr.

Louise is survived by her husband, Robert Tennesen of Havre de Grace, MD; her daughters Teena (Little) Cardoni of Essex, MD and Andrea (Little) Duvall of Louisville, KY; her son, James Little of Essex, MD; two wonderful son-in-laws, Ed Cardoni and Randy Duvall; granddaughters - Nicole Cardoni, Samantha Newman, Iesha Bacon, Tonya Emerick, Amanda Widenhofer; grandsons – James Fleming, Robert Fleming, Robert Bolen III, Luke Cardoni, Vince Cardoni, Gino Cardoni; great-grandchildren – Alyssa Cardoni, Caleb Newman, Mekayla Newman, Christopher Fleming, Aidan Fleming, Cameron Bolen, Annjalee Johnson, Tanna Johnson, Alexis Thomas, Aliyah Thomas, and Roland Bacon; sister, Barbara Deal; brothers, Ricky Herbert and Bunky Herbert; Aunt Ermalee McCauley; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. and the funeral was held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Paster Ron Tabor officiating.

Graveside committal service was held at HarfordMemorialGardens with active pallbearers, Luke Cardoni, Vince Cardoni, Gino Cardoni, Scott Deal, James Fleming, Robert Fleming, Dallas Herbert, Peter Miljevic and Drew Newman.
