It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beulah Kelly, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this world peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 105. Beulah was born on October 26, 1919, in Matewan, West Virginia, and spent most of her life residing in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Beulah lived a life of remarkable resilience and love. During World War II, she contributed to the war effort as an aircraft riveter, a testament to her strong spirit and dedication. After the war, she embraced her role as a homemaker, where her nurturing personality shone through her passions for gardening and cooking. Many will remember her beautiful gardens and the warmth of her kitchen, where she created not just meals, but memories filled with love.
She is survived by her son, Edward I. Kelly, Jr., (Lynda DeWitt) and her cherished granddaughter, Anna Kelly. Her legacy of kindness and unwavering support will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on April 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Harford Memorial Gardens, where a gathering of family and friends will come together to honor Beulah's remarkable life. As we gather to celebrate her journey, we find comfort in the enduring love she shared with all.
We invite those who knew her to share their memories and celebrate a life beautifully lived. In our sorrow, we remember her laughter and the strength she gave us, carrying her spirit forward in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Edward Kelly, mother, Bertie Witt, father, John Witt, sister Marie Elste, and brother, Clyde Witt.
