Beverly Mae (Richardson) Pelton of Aberdeen, MD passed away surrounded by her family on September 17, 2022 at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late William T. Pelton.
Born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late William Kemp and Evelyn Nesta (Davis) Richardson.
She was the mother of Leslie Hall, Tracey Berry, William T. Pelton, Jr., Laura McGonigal Pelton, Linda Juchnieucz and the late Lawrence E. Ferguson, Richard K. Ferguson, and Lucinda Preston; grandmother of twenty-one and great-grandmother of twenty-three; sister of the late William K. Richardson, Jr., the late Joanne Swann, and the late Nesta Costanza.
Beverly was a life member of the American Legion Post #47, American Legion Post #47 Auxiliary and the VFW #8126. She gave freely of her time serving as; American Legion Auxiliary President, American Legion Auxiliary Past President, American Legion Auxiliary Past Executive Committee, American Legion Auxiliary Past Chaplain, American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Hospital Worker, and American Legion Auxiliary Historian.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., where a funeral service will be held at 1 P.M.
Interment will be at Angel Hill Cemetery.
