Bobby Ray "Toad" Lee of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by his family on June 18, 2021. He was the devoted husband for 56 years to the late Dorothy I. Lee.
Born on May 27, 1937, in Johnston, NC to the late Young & Rosa Lee Thornton.
He was the loving father of Bobby R. Lee, Jr., William "Bill" L. Lee, Penny M. Lee, and Linda K. Stroud, grandfather of Kaitlin Lee, Liam Lee, Christopher Hine, Jason Hine, and Ashley Williams Stroud, and the great-grandfather of Riddick and Sarana.
Fascinated with the speed potential inside a Ford Motor, his joy of racing included the local Sprint Car Circuit and Nascar. If there was a Ford in the race, he was EXPECTING it to win!
Another personal fact, when the Colts left Baltimore, the NFL no longer existed for him.
He found real joy the day he was baptized into Christ at First Christian Church in Havre de Grace, MD. You would see some of his biggest smiles when he participated in his favorite activities with the friends he made there, as well as Indian Lake Christian Camp. He was also involved in the outreach program of the church and the local Prison Ministry.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 10 A.M. at the Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
Officiating is Pastor Mike Russell.
