Brenda (Laila) Racine, 43, of Newport News, VA, formerly of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away May 16, 2019 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News after a lengthy battle and complications from lupus.
She was born on February 23, 1976 in Havre de Grace and was the daughter of Fred and Yolanda Racine. Brenda was a 1995 graduate of Havre de Grace High School and will be remembered as always being there to help others and caring for those in need.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, David Hall of Enid OK, daughter Casey Bradley of Springfield, MO and son Brahim Cheikh of Newport News, VA.
Services honoring her life will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation for friends and family at the funeral home on Friday evening May 24 from 6-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Harford Memorial Gardens on Saturday following the service.
