Carmen Anthony Vesper, Jr.

Carmen Anthony Vesper, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 13, 2012. He was 56.
He was born in Elkton, MD to Sara Elizabeth Montgomery and the late Carmen A. Vesper, Sr. He was the dear brother of Alanda Sutor of Port Deposit, MD, Elaine Pierce and her husband Robert of Port Deposit, Jenett Ebright and her husband Russell and Carmen Cunningham and her husband Frank of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the uncle of Christina Sutor-Dallis, Denise McGonigle, Robert Pierce, Jr., Natalie Cunningham, Valerie Cunningham, Rachel Gamatoria, Rebecca Ebright, and Robin Ebright. He also had a great-niece Nina Tocci.
Mr. Vesper retired from the City of Havre de Grace, Dept. of Public Works. Over the years, he had many interests and hobbies, including hunting and fishing, furniture refinishing, raising homing pigeons, listening to music, riding his bike, and laughing and reminiscing with friends and family. He loved animals and nature and also wrote poetry. Mr. Vesper was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 47.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St. Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
