Catherine Phoebe Calder
Catherine Phoebe Calder passed away peacefully Friday, February 10, 2012 at Four Seasons Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. She was 89. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of the late Blanche and Elmer Street.
Mrs. Calder was retired from the Maryland National Guard in Havre de Grace where she had worked as a secretary for 44 years. She had received many awards and commendations for her skills. After her retirement, she traveled extensively and made many new friends. She loved music and dancing.
She is survived by her son: Frank Calder and his wife Joanne of Havre de Grace, and her grandchildren Richard and Jessica, a brother: Carroll Street of Baltimore; sister-in-law: Myrtle Street of Wilmington and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Archer Franklin Calder, her son: Ronald Adrian Calder; and her brother Ellery Street.
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Four Seasons and Seasons Hospice for their care and kindness.
A private burial is planned.
