Catherine Eva Jones, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on June 4, 2021. She was 98. Mrs. Jones was born in Cecil County, MD, to Theodore James Culley and Carrie Malinda Jones Culley. She was the devoted wife of 69 years to the late Arthur Lincoln Jones. She was the loving mother of the late Arthur James Jones, grandmother of Gregory Erik Jones of Woodbridge, VA, and great-grandmother of Natasha Jones. She was the sister of Shirley Poole of Havre de Grace, MD, and the late Clyde Culley, James Culley, Lester Culley, Russell Culley, Freida Peck, and Elsie Freeman. She was the mother-in-law of Carol Jones. Mrs. Jones retired from the National Guard Armory. She was a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jones was a wonderful cook, know especially for her Chicken and Dumplings. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and was an avid reader. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, at 12:00 PM, at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, located at Route 40 and Spesutia Road, Aberdeen, MD.
