Christopher Matthew Chaplin, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on January 7, 2022. He was 37.

Mr. Chaplin was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to James Henry Chaplin, Jr., and Cathy Marie Keith Chaplin. He was the father of Caylee Chaplin and Charlotte Chaplin, brother of J.C. Chaplin, III, grandson of James Henry Chaplin, Sr., Hattie L. Chaplin, Charlie E. Keith, Evelyn A. Keith, and boyfriend of Nicole Lind. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins and his dogs, Hannah and Emma. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Henry Chaplin, Sr.

Mr. Chaplin owned and operated Merica Graphics and Designs. He enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycles, and cars. He loved working with his hands and airbrushing.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
