Clarissa "Crickie" (Morris) Fox, passed away with her loved ones by her side on December 18, 2023 at the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 101 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick H. Fox.
Crickie was Born in Aberdeen, MD to the late Walter A. and Irene (Gates) Morris. She was the loving mother of the late Frederick H. Fox, Jr. She is survived by her nephew Frank Molali (Nancy), their children Charlotte (Bruno) and William, niece Kay Long (Arthur)and several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Thelma Morris Gosiveiler.
Clarissa "Crickie" worked and retired from the Aberdeen Proving Ground Comptroller's office. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, several bridge clubs, a Christian travel club and Young at Heart club. She was also an avid gardener and loved camping. "Crickie" loved and enjoyed people
Crickie was a member of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church since 1962 where she served on various committees including alter guild, parish guild, and vestry women. She also attended several Bible studies.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 11 am to 12 pm at the Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, 560 Fountain Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. The funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the church followed by interment at Angel Hill Cemetery. The internment is for immediate family. A reception will be held at the church following the interment. The officiant for the service is Rev. Mark Specht.
