Clifford Bay Himes, Jr., of Delta, PA, passed away on March 30, 2017. He was 76. Mr. Himes was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Clifford Bay Himes, Sr., and Sara Bowman Himes. He was the devoted husband of 58 years to Joan E. Himes, loving father of Teresa and Jake Bostic of Fancy Gap, VA, Julia and Bo Riley of Garland, NC, and Sherry and Mike Hitchcock of Delta, PA. He was the grandfather of Nathan and Patty Riley of Garland, NC, Justin Riley of San Jose, CA, Kimberly and Dale Hicks of Manchester, MD, Kaylee and Sara Hitchcock of Delta, PA, Steven Bostic, Christopher and Brianna Bostic of Baltimore, MD, and great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Himes was a Past member of Darlington Lions Club and the Level Fire Department. He was an avid boater and loved traveling and camping. He was a humble, gracious man who cherished spending time with his friends and family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 from10 AM until 11 AM at Rock Run United Methodist Church, 4102 Rock Run Road, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM. Rev. Paul Simmons will officiate. Interment will be held at Rock Run United Methodist Church.
