It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clyde Franklin Brown, who left us peacefully from natural causes on March 5, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on July 4, 1943, in Tazewell, Virginia, Clyde was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He spent his life as a devoted Miller at Tharpe and Green Mill, where he worked diligently in the farming industry, contributing to both his community and family.
Clyde was known for his passion for hunting and fishing, often finding joy in the great outdoors. He embraced a simple life that involved mowing grass, reflecting his love for nature and the tranquility it provided. Above all, Clyde cherished the time spent with his family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Clyde is survived by his children: Clyde Brown (Amanda), Rose Brown, Joann Coffing Billy), and Paul Brown (Misty Wiles), as well as his loving grandchildren: Chelsea (Derick), Danielle, Brittany, Nathan, Hannah, Jaylin, and Cameron. He also leaves behind his dear great-grandchildren: Peyton, Makenna, Ezekiel, Ezra, and soon to arrive, (Peanut). Clyde's siblings, Mary Matthews and Robert Brown will also remember him fondly, as will many other family members and friends whose lives he touched.
A viewing will be held on March 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, where a funeral service will be held March 10, 2025, at 11 A.M. Family and friends are invited to join to celebrate Clyde's life and the legacy of love he leaves behind. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
