Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Constance "Connie" Ann Kegley, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend. Connie passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024, in her home in Havre de Grace, MD, surrounded by her family. She was 78 years old and the devoted wife of the late Jimmy Kegley.
Connie was born on September 28, 1945, in Havre de Grace, MD. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. Connie grew up in Havre de Grace and cherished her childhood memories of the town she called home. She possessed an unwavering determination and pursued a successful career in sales, specifically in the cosmetics industry. Connie worked diligently at Macy's, where she displayed her exceptional talent and passion for her work.
Throughout her life, Connie found joy and fulfillment in her roles as a mother and grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the proud and doting mother to her sons, Randy Gene Zellman and his wife Lynette, Richard Edward Zellman and his wife Mary Ann, Rodney Scott Zellman and his wife Tina, and William Michael Kegley and his wife Elizabeth. Connie also cherished the role of grandmother, as she adored her grandchildren Gina, Kari, Faith, Rachel, Brooke, Tate, Brittany, Emily, Kevin, Jacob, Kaitlyn and the late Erin, her great-grandchildren River, Silver, Chase, Jordan and Aubrey, and shared in their joys and accomplishments. She will be greatly missed by her brothers, Ralph E. Robinson, Robert L. Robinson, James L. Robinson, the late William C. Robinson, as well as other extended family members and close friends.
Outside of her family,

Connie was a loyal friend to many. She possessed an infectious spirit, a warm smile. Connie had an innate ability to uplift those around her, providing comfort and support during times of need.
Connie deeply appreciated the little things in life, such as cooking, finding peace in simplicity, and embracing each moment with gratitude. Connie leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family.

The visitation and service to honor and celebrate Constance's life will be held on February 9, 2024, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. The funeral service will begin at 3 P.M."

Officiating will be Father Francis Ouma of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
As we gather, we will remember the vibrant spirit and remarkable soul, Constance "Connie" Ann Kegley, whose love, and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
