Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Craig Patrick Reeling, age 56, who departed this life peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Havre De Grace, Maryland. Craig was born on November 8, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and went on to live a life of service, devotion, and love.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., Craig served our country honorably for eight years. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of duty and community that he carried throughout his life. Craig was an active member of the National Marine Corps League and the Marine Corps League, Corporal Pete Arnold Attachment, as well as serving with pride at VFW Post 8672 in Jarrettsville, Maryland, and American Legion Post 47. Notably, he took great pride in his role as the Harford County Toys for Tots Coordinator, where he worked tirelessly to bring joy to children during the holiday season.

Craig's passion for volunteering extended beyond his military affiliations; he dedicated countless hours to helping others, always striving to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him. He was instrumental in the establishment of a Gold Star Memorial in his beloved Havre De Grace, a testament to his commitment to honoring the sacrifices of fellow veterans.

Above all, Craig cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Erika Reeling, and their three devoted sons, Dominik (Hannah), Frankie (Kresta), and Nickolas Reeling. He was a proud grandfather to Isabella, Giavanna, Vincent, and Carmine Reeling, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. Craig's spirit of kindness, humor, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by his siblings, Aimee Berger (The Late Conney), Scott Kanz (Ann), and Drew Kanz-O'Shea, as well as a wide circle of friends and fellow veterans. Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Glenn Reeling and Dr. Patricia Glueck Reeling.

Friends and family will gather to honor Craig's remarkable life at a public viewing on May 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Craig to join us as we celebrate his life and legacy, sharing stories and memories that reflect the warmth and light he brought to our lives.

Contributions may be made in Craig's memory to The National Toys for Tots Foundation Home - Toys for Tots, continuing his legacy of giving to those in need.

Craig Patrick Reeling leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication that will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
