Cynthia Moorefield Fenwick, 69, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on February 20, 2014. Ms. Fenwick was born in Danville, Virginia, to the late Allen Wilson Moorefield and Frances Jordon Moorefield. She was the beloved mother of Michaela Fenwick Roberts, loving mother-in-law to Charles Edward Roberts and cherished grandmother of Lila Moorefield Roberts and Graham Wilson Roberts.

Ms. Fenwick, a certified public accountant, spent her career working in various financial management positions at multiple institutions of higher education, including Johns Hopkins University, University of Washington, and University of Delaware. She eventually retired as Associate Vice-Chancellor and Controller from the University of California – San Francisco in 2002. She spent her retirement enjoying time with her family and friends, fishing in the Florida Keys, and doting on her beloved grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Interment will be held at Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
