Cynthia "Cindi" Mayse, affectionately known by many as "C 2," passed away after a life devoted to the community she loved. Born on April 30, 1967, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she remained a proud lifelong resident, building her life around family, friendship, and service to others.

Cindi was the cherished daughter of the late James Bay Wettig, Sr. and Peggy Craig. She is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Robert Daniel Mayse; her sister, Sherry O'Brien; her brother, James Bay Wettig, Jr., and his wife, Kelley; and her brother-in-law, Bill Reeder, husband of her late sister, Gail.

Family was the foundation of Cindi's life, and she treasured every holiday, celebration, cookout, and gathering. Her greatest joy came from simply being together with those she loved.

For 30 years, Cindi served the Havre de Grace community as a Pharmacy Technician at Citizens Pharmacy. Through her dependability, compassion, and gentle spirit, she earned the respect and affection of coworkers, customers, and friends alike. Whether offering a kind word, a reassuring smile, or simply remembering someone's name, she had a remarkable way of making people feel seen and cared for.

Cindi embraced life with enthusiasm and an infectious sense of humor. A loyal Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens fan, she celebrated every victory and stood by her teams through every season. She also enjoyed fishing and boating, finding peace and happiness on the water. She loved sharing a cold beer, discovering new restaurants, and making lasting memories with family and friends. She especially cherished the vacations she shared with her husband, Robert. Whether close to home or somewhere new, those trips were filled with laughter, adventure, and treasured moments that strengthened the bond they shared and created memories that Robert and their loved ones will carry forever.

One of Cindi's great joys was tending to her flower gardens. Filled with vibrant colors and lovingly cared for, they reflected the beauty, warmth, and life she brought to those around her. She found peace in watching them grow and took pride in sharing them with family, friends, and neighbors.

Those who knew Cindi also knew the playful banter that filled her marriage to Robert. She never missed an opportunity to tease him about his "bad driving," a running joke that brought laughter to countless family gatherings and perfectly captured the love, comfort, and companionship they shared throughout their life together.

Cindi will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty, quick wit, honest heart, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She loved deeply, laughed often, and lived with a generosity of spirit that touched countless lives. Her kindness, strength, and joyful presence leave a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain with her family and friends forever. She will be profoundly missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten. RIP July 9, 2026.
