Daniel was born on December 31, 1976, in Baltimore, Maryland, and left this world on December 1, 2025, at the age of 48. He served as a genuine example of kindness and resilience, living his life with a spirit that inspired those around him. Daniel spent his working years in the demolition industry, where he made a lasting impact through his hard work and dedication. His commitment to his craft was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. He will be remembered above all as a loving husband to his wife, Mary Shackelford, and as a devoted father to their daughter, Cheyenne Shackelford. He is also survived by two siblings.

Daniel's gentle nature and constant encouragement quietly shaped the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Daniel loved time spent with his family, especially his daughter. He enjoyed bike riding, swimming, and working out. He was an avid collector of knives, swords, and coins.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Shackelford Sr., and Donna Lee White. A compassionate soul, Daniel had a way of bringing warmth and light into any room he entered. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, as well as by those whose lives he touched throughout his journey. Funeral services will be private.
