Daniel John Sosnowski, 61, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away at home after a two-year battle with cancer.

Born in Wilmington, DE on December 11, 1960, Daniel was the son of the late John Frank and Alice Charlotte Sosnowski. He had a career at Delmarva Power and Light, working as a lineman and before retiring, headed the training department. He will be remembered as a man devoted to his family, a loving father and grandfather.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Sosnowski and his wife Rebecca of Dover, DE; daughters Kira Brignoni and her partner John Tattan of Mesa, AZ, and Rebecca Ammirati and her husband Anthony of Damascus, MD; His Mother-in-law, Mildred Dabran of Havre de Grace, MD; and five grandchildren, Samara and Gabreul Brignoni, and Wyatt, Bennett, and Sloane Sosnowski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Catherine and his sister Renee Gavis.

A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078 on Thursday July 21, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, DE at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in Daniel's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
