David Lee Jones, (POP) of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on September 12, 2023. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Jones was born in Street, MD, to James Jones and Ethel Rebecca Osterkamp Jones. He was the loving father of Richard Allen Jones (Tonya), Martin Lee Jones (Roxanne), Connie Lousie Erby (Edgar Jr.), and the late David Lee Jones, Jr., grandfather of Heidi Lee Jones (Dan Mann), Edgar David Erby, III, Richard Allen Jones, Jr., and the late Hannah Elizabeth Erby, great-grandfather of Camren Mann and Alexus Beattie, and had one great-great-grandchild David Norman Bogush III. Mr. Jones was the brother of Harold Jones and the late James Jones Jr., Ernest Jones, Ellen Richardson, Donald Jones, Joe Jones, and Eugena Jones. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Cooler.

Mr. Jones was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Stancill Inc. for over 50 yrs. He was a very hard worker and loved his work and animals. His favorite entertainment was wrestling and Blue Grass Music!

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 5-7 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 7 PM.
