Dayna Marie Smith, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished daughter, passed away on September 20, 2024, in Havre De Grace, MD, at the age of 54. Born on December 2, 1969, in Oakland, CA, to Dave and Mary Ellen (Poyer) Smith.
She leaves behind a legacy of love with her beloved husband, Gregory Frazier, and their children, Phallon Ann Kilduff, Morghan Grace Kilduff, and Sean Michael Kilduff. Dayna was the adored and loving sister of Aaron Smith (Mario Moyano) and Lauren Sok (Kevin). She leaves behind her cherished pets GiGi and BooBoo, and many friends.
Dayna excelled in her role as a Hospice Care Coordinator at Accent Care. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her family, providing comfort and support to those in need. Her ability to connect with others was truly remarkable, drawing people towards her like a beacon of light.
Dayna's vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She filled her days with joy, watching her children, Phallon, Morghan, and Sean excel in lacrosse games, shining with pride at their accomplishments and all they were involved in. Dayna's wide range of interests, from gardening and woodworking to enjoying art shows and the beauty of nature, listening to her audiobooks, flowers, music, singing, and being at the ocean brought her great happiness. Dayna's love of sunflowers, Gnomes and butterflies reflected her zest for life. She had an amazing skill and talent for shopping on Amazon. Known for her infectious laughter and vibrant personality, Dayna found joy in life's simple pleasures and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
A Celebration of Dayna's life will take place at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD on September 28, 2024, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M., providing an opportunity to share memories and stories of the remarkable woman Dayna was. At 4 P.M. a service will be held, where family and friends will come together to honor her legacy, and services will be livestreamed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a cause close to Dayna's heart. Dayna Marie Smith's light may have dimmed, but her love and generosity will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. She will forever be remembered as a beacon of kindness, compassion, and joy.
