Obituary

Deborah Levon Robinette, known affectionately as Debbie by her loved ones, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, in Belcamp, Maryland, at the age of 62. Born on March 19, 1962, in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Debbie's warm spirit and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she cherished.

Debbie grew up in a close-knit family and was the beloved daughter of Aretta McManus and the late Ronald D. McManus. Her devotion to family was the cornerstone of her life. She was a loving mother to her children, Josh Sullivan and his wife Amanda, Heather Rolek and her husband Nicholas, and Brandon Sullivan, all of Edgewood. Debbie's joy was multiplied by her cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Kayla, Abby, Tori, Damien, Christopher, Brianna, Caleb, Everleigh, and Aubrey. She was a caring sister to her brothers, David, Eddie, and Jeff McManus, who will remember her as a guiding presence throughout their lives.

Throughout her career in food service, Debbie's generosity of spirit shone through in her interactions with customers and colleagues alike. She took great pleasure in serving others and formed countless friendships over the years. Her colleagues will remember her as a dedicated and hardworking individual who brought joy and laughter into the workplace.

Debbie was a woman of deep faith and enjoyed Victorious Faith Fellowship. Her faith was a testament to her character, guiding her through life's challenges and inspiring those around her.

Her interests outside of work were simple yet profound. Debbie had a passion for crosswords, finding solace in the quiet challenge they offered. She was a fixture in her family's living room, where she could often be found cheering on contestants in her favorite game shows. Debbie's ability to find joy in everyday moments was one of her most endearing qualities.

To say that Debbie was generous would be an understatement. She gave of herself selflessly, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her outlook on life was a source of comfort and guidance to many. She was the kind of person who never met a stranger, and to know her was to be considered a friend.

Debbie's legacy is one of love, kindness, and selflessness. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the countless lives she touched. She was a beacon of hope and a pillar of her community, and her absence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we say goodbye to Deborah Levon Robinette, we celebrate the remarkable life she led and the immeasurable impact she had on those around her. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the power of generosity and the importance of faith. Debbie's life was a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived, and she will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
