Obituary
Dennis Robert Lynn, Sr., of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on November 7, 2022. He was 73.
Mr. Lynn was born in Ansonia, Ohio, to Raymond and Ramona Davis Lynn. He was the devoted husband of JoAnn Lynn, father of Dennis Lynn, Jr., Robert Howard Mitchell (Kelly), Joseph Charles Mitchell (Ronette), Donna Beth Mitchell, Roger Perry Mitchell (Kammy), Darrin James Mitchell, and the late Mary Ann Mitchell. He was the grandfather of 26 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Charles Lynn.
Mr. Lynn served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, including two tours in Vietnam. Among other medals, he was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. After the Army, he worked for the Department of Defense as a security officer. He was a member of American Legion Post 128, and VFW Post 8126.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 5-7 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Services will begin at 7 PM. Rev. Frank McFadden will officiate.
