Donald Ray Bratton, Sr., of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on December 24, 2023. He was 59 years old.

Mr. Bratton was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Ralph Bratton, Sr., and Shirley Ann Brewer Bratton Doran. He was the devoted husband of 40 years to Jeania Mae Bratton, loving father of Crystal Mae Rumsey and son-in-law, Kyle Rumsey, Sr., and Donald Ray Bratton, Jr., and daughter-in-law Tammy Bratton, and grandfather of Kyle Rumsey, Jr., Brandon Rumsey, and Draven Ray Bratton. He was the brother of Anita Thompson, Larry Morrison, Thomas "Eddie" Bratton, Freddie Bratton, John Bratton, Jeffrey Bratton, and the late Kenny Morrison, Ricky Bratton, and the late Ralph Bratton, Jr. Mr. Bratton is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bratton was a successful man of all trades and enjoyed, swimming, playing pool, grilling at family cookouts, and watching "Gunsmoke". He was a Baltimore Ravens Fan, an automobile enthusiast and liked to ride around on his golf cart. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and his beloved dog, Jed, and laughing and telling jokes with them.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 6, 2023, from 1-4 PM, at the Port Deposit VFW, 520 Susquehanna River Road, Port Deposit, MD 21904.
