Donald Coulter, Sr.
Donald Bay Coulter, Sr. passed away on January 23, 2008 at HarfordMemorialHospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland. He was 80 years old.
Mr. Coulter was the son of the Late Howard L. and Beulah B. ( Watters ) Coulter. Donald had been preceaded in death by his wife of 59 years the Late Helen B. Coulter, she had passed away in July of 2007.
Donald was a loving father to: Donald B. Coulter, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Aberdeen, MD, Raymond H. Coulter of Havre de Grace, MD, Donna R. Coomes and her life long companion Everett Rees both of Havre de Grace, MD, Rene Coulter of Havre de Grace, MD and Denise L. Angelucci of Havre de Grace, MD and the Late Susan Lawson. He was a devoted grandfather to: Cindi and Rodney DeBonis of Havre de Grace, MD, Dawn and Tim Bullins of Galax, VA, Andrea and Ken Lorek of Knoxville, TN, Lindsey and Joseph Nosari of Springfield, VA, Justin Coulter of Aberdeen, MD, Angela and Chris Johnson of Havre de Grace, MD, Maria and " Chip" Johnson of Port Deposit, MD and Bradley Pittam of Havre de Grace, MD. Mr. Coulter was the great-grandfather to five: Michael DeBonis of Havre de Grace, MD, Carson DeBonis of Havre de Grace, MD, Avery and Alexis Bullins of Galax, VA , Olivia Grace Lorek of Knoxville, TN and the Late Ashley Bullins.
Mr. Coulter was a brother to Dale Coulter of Harrisburg, PA and the Late Marvin Coulter and Hazel Wilson.
Mr. Coulter was retired from Civil Service at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a Painter. He was a member of the VFW Post # 6027 in Havre de Grace, MD and the American Legion Post # 47 in Havre de Grace, MD. He enjoyed the horse races and was a collector of decoys. Mr. Donald loved the outdoors and was a fisherman and waterman by heart, he loved to hunt the Susquehanna Flats.
Officiating will be Rev. Edward Heydt.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078.
A service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.
