It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Lee Cox, Jr., who left us on April 23, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on March 5, 1973, in Havre de Grace, MD, Donald was a cherished son, brother, and friend. He resided in Aberdeen, MD, where his warmth and enthusiasm touched the lives of many. Donald was a passionate soul who found joy in simple pleasures. He had a deep love for billiards, often gathering with friends and family for spirited games that were filled with laughter and camaraderie. An avid sports fan, he delighted in watching the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, proudly cheering for his teams with an infectious spirit. Professionally, Donald dedicated his talents to the automotive industry, working at Bel Air Auto Auction, where his passion for Mustang cars spurred many conversations and connections. His love for these vehicles reflected his vibrant personality and zest for life. He is survived by his devoted mother, Susan Cox, and his loving sister, Cheryl Cox, who will deeply miss his laughter, generous heart, and the light he brought into their lives. Donald was preceded in death by his father Donald Cox, Sr. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Donald's life. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 from 6 P.M to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace. MD, where Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. where all are encouraged to share memories and celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery following the funeral service.
