Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar "Eddie" Carroll Lewis, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on January 15, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on January 25, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, Edgar lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. Edgar was a dedicated clothing cutter for Glen Eagle, where he shared his skills and passion for the textile industry. He also pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning his own business, Collector's Zone. His work extended beyond his career; he served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his commitment to his country and community. Edgar was a proud member of the VFW in North East, MD, and the Susquehanna American Legion in Perryville, MD, where he built lasting friendships with fellow veterans.A man of many interests, Edgar was an avid poker player and a passionate collector of model trains and cuckoo clocks. He fondly reminisced about the joy of playing and collecting old arcade games and relished the simple pleasure of sharing steamed crabs with his family and friends. His love for music shone brightly as he enjoyed attending concerts of the Journey Tribute Band, Eclipse, with his daughter Christina. The Christmas season held a special place in Edgar's heart. His home was a testament to his festive spirit, as he decorated with great enthusiasm, earning several awards for his stunning displays. Edgar's generosity of spirit and warm laughter will be cherished and missed by all who knew him.Edgar is survived by his loving daughter Christina Conrad (John) , his son Kevin Lewis (Kristina Lewis), and cherished grandchildren Bradley Hermans (Natasha Kimmey), Jason Hermans (Audra), Alicia Perrin, and Lilly Lewis, and his first wife, Patricia Gordes. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hudson, father, Edgar Lewis, mother, Madeline Lewis, and brother, Gary Lewis.Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during public viewings that will take place at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. on January 21, 2026.
