Ella L. Strong of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by the love of her family on January 26, 2015 at the Citizens Care Center. She was 95.

She was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Price Hipple and Lillie (Bayless) Hipple.

She was the devoted mother of Walter W. "Bill" Strong and his companion Annette Reynolds, Norma Rimel and her husband John, Bonnie Jamison and her late husband Daniel, Nancy Long and her husband Richard and the late Clara Bernardi and her late husband Frank. She was the adoring grandmother of fourteen, great-grandmother of twenty-two and great-great grandmother of ten. She was the sister to John Hipple, Anna Garrett and the late William "Bill" Hipple, Price Hipple and Mildred Mundis.

Mrs. Strong worked for many years at the Harford Memorial Hospital and the Holiday Inn as a Housekeeper. She enjoyed her Soap Opera Television shows and watching Lawrence Welk. She loved to read and enjoyed flowers.
Pallbearers will be Joe Stewart, Mike Rimel, Ronnie Bernardi, Tony Forton, Tony Macre and Josh Jennings.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 4 to 6 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.
