Ellen D. Timilty of Havre de Grace, MD passed away with the love of her family on April 5, 2022, at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 79 years old and the beloved wife of the late Richard Timilty.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Francis and Mary (Staples) O'Connor. She is survived by her children; Matthew Turnor, Michael Turnor, Jim Timilty (Michele) and Betty Florey daughter in love, grandchildren; Sean Holyoke, Nicole Congleton (Andy), Robert Florey (Kim) and , great-grandchildren; Brielle, Ariana, Joleigh, Juliette, and Jordan. She was the beloved friend of Mary and Joel Russell and their daughter Susie and son Erik.
Ms. Timilty had retired after many years as a Quality Assurance Manager for Pharmaceuticals. She was an artist who enjoyed painting with oils, drawing and crocheting. She loved making hats, scarves, and blankets for her loved ones. Ellen loved all nature and her beloved ducks which she collected for many years. She enjoyed shopping, often spending hours just looking around in the store without a single purchase. Above all she loved her family and her grandchildren.
Services will be held on June 14, 2022 at 1:45 P.M., Massachusetts National Veteran Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
