Emily Elizabeth "Mimi" Dillon, 94, of Whiteford, MD, passed away January 28, 2017 at Lorien Bulle Rock.
She was born in Cape Charles, VA on July 13, 1922. Emily enjoyed cooking, quilting, reading, puzzles and gardening.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol F. Gallion and her husband Joseph, and Catherine H. O'Brien; 5 grandchildren, Catherine "Kay" Visnaw and husband Fred, Richard W. O'Brien and wife Jennifer, Kathy E. Hindenlang and husband Don, John Frank Steinhilber and wife Becci, and Amelia C. Zyski and husband Mike; 4 great grandchildren, Lily A. Corpuz, Amber N. Steinhilber, Brittany M. Steinhilber, and Hailey Zyski; and a brother, Robert Altvater and wife Margaret.
She was predeceased by her brother Harold "Buddy" Sarvis and her sister Edna Mae Smith, brother in law, Robert Smith, and son in law Ray O'Brien.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
