Eric Matthew Ishak of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed from this life on June 4, 2021. He was 27 years old and the devoted husband of Ashley Marie Ishak.

Born in Havre de Grace to Paul W. and April Caso Ishak, he was the loving brother of Nico Marie Ishak, Joseph Michael Ishak, and Gianna Marie Ishak; Son-in-Law of Peter and Amy Quackenbush; Brother-in-Law of Melissa and John Welsh and Peter Quackenbush. In addition to his parents, siblings, and wife, Eric is also survived by his grandmother, Virginia Ishak, wife of the late Dr. Maher Ishak, and many beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Eric graduated from John Carroll High School in 2012 and attended St. Mary's College. Eric was a Dispatcher for the Harford County Department Emergency Services and a Lieutenant with the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Eric enjoyed boating, going to the driving range, gaming, reading, podcasts, music, playing guitar, and studying history. He loved the beach and the company of family and friends around a fire pit.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 9:45 A.M. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 615 Congress Ave., Havre de Grace, MD. Officiating will be Father Dale Picarella. Services will also be Livestreamed via Facebook@ Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., or on Eric's obituary page via the funeral home website.
