It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Aubrey Moses, beloved father, son, and friend, who left this world peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on June 6, 1980, in Osterholz-Sharmbeck, Germany, Eric embraced life with passion and enthusiasm, touching the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. He resided in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and made his mark as a dedicated Water Plant Operator for Harford County Government and took pride in his work in the waste treatment industry.
Eric was a devoted father to his two daughters, Kylie "KyKy" and Brooklyn "Boo" Moses, who were the light of his life. His love for them was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent supporting them in their sports and endeavors. Eric's warm spirit extended beyond his immediate family; he is survived by his mother, Mary K. Schweers and her husband Herman "Buddy", and father, Gary J. Moses, along with his half-siblings: Lindsay Brownlie-Lammers, Chelsea Blackmon, Jason Whelan, Jenifer Lynn Pauliukonis (Pranas), and William "Patrick" Schweers. He will also be remembered fondly by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will miss his kind heart and infectious enthusiasm for life. Eric leaves behind his friend and mother to his children Erin McConkey-Moses and birth father Charles E. Brownlie.
In addition to his devotion to family, Eric was an active member of the River Valley APA Pennsylvania Pool League, the APA Maryland Pool League, and the East/West Virginia Pool League, where he celebrated numerous championships. His passion for Jeeps and membership in a Jeep Club showcased his adventurous spirit, while his love for video games and sports, particularly football and baseball, brought joy to his everyday life. Eric's deep love for family and animals resonated in every aspect of his life
A visitation honoring Eric's life will take place at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.,927 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace, MD on September 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where a funeral service will be at 7:00 PM. Father Bill Smith will officiate the ceremony, celebrating the remarkable person Eric was and the loving legacy he leaves behind.
As we come together to remember Eric, let us hold his memory close, celebrating the joy he brought into our lives and the immense love he shared with those around him. He will be missed dearly but will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
