Eugene Hugh Mathias, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 7, 2023. He was 71.

Mr. Mathias was born in Fremont, Ohio, to Robert H. Mathias and Mae Alice Windagel Mathias. He was the devoted husband to the late Andrea Denise Mathias, loving father of Leslie Nicole Mathias-Hurt (Eric Hurt), grandfather of Scott Raymond Jr., Logan Hurt, and Brian Paul, great grandfather of Orion Paul and brother of Kathy Crouse and Paul Mathias (Yaneth).
Mr. Mathias was a Master Plumber, carpenter, and an extremely hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He loved animals, especially his dog and cats.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Mathias.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 13th at the American Legion's Pavilion, 501 St. John Street, Havre de Grace, MD from 2-5 PM.
