Fernglen C. Wiherle

Fernglen C. Wiherle (Carper) passed away on September 21, 2010 at her home in Havre de Grace, MD. She was 82. Mrs. Wiherle was born in Saxton, PA to the late Blair and Iva (Hile) Carper. She was the devoted wife of the Late Matthew F. Wiherle. She was a Realtor for Long and Foster for many years. She had continued working in realstate up until she became ill. Mrs. Wiherle is survived by her son Matthew Glen Wiherle and his wife Barbara of Havre de Grace; and Maxine Blair Harris and her husband Ronald of Port Deposit. She was the loving "Mom Mom" to Heidi Pensell, her husband Garrett and their children, Julie, Henry and Ella Pensell; Jocelyn Greimel, her husband Kent and their daughter Meghan Greimel; and Matthew Blair Wiherle and his wife Kate; Anna Wise, her husband Christopher and their children Victoria and Hunter; Elizabeth Roark and her husband Jamie; Matthew Harris, his wife Heidi and their children Julianna, Etta, Grant and Joseph Harris. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt.ZionUnitedMethodistChurch, 1645 East Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD at 10:45 A.M. on Thursday, September 30, 2010. Officiating will be Pastor Craig McLaughlin. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society,8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236 or the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum, 100 Lafayette Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
