Florence Virginia (Litzinger) Brennan of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on September 29, 2023, she was 95 years old. She was the devoted wife of the late James Leo Brennan.
Born in Creswell, MD to the late Clarence Earl Litzinger and Mae Evelyn (Nelson) Litzinger. She was the loving mother of Brenda Mae Brennan Baker, Kim Rose Brennan Glackin and the late Leo Earl Brennan, beloved grandmother of James William Ball, Kristen Michelle Ball Shahan, Shannon Kristina Ball Woodbeck, Brian Leo Brennan, Lea Ann Brennan Jones, Kortney Lynn DeBonis Campbell and Jesse James Glackin, great-grandmother of fifteen and was predeceased by her great grandson Brodey Matthew DiPasquale, great-great grandmother of five. She was also preceded in death by her brother Earl Nelson Litzinger and her sister-in-law Betty.
Ms. Brennan was a homemaker, who loved nothing more than to take care of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and was also the adoptive grandmother and aunt to many. She volunteered at Citizens Care Center for 23 years in the activities department. She loved dancing, playing cards, especially Rummy, BINGO and going out to eat with family and friends. She was a dedicated and loyal fan of the Orioles and the Ravens.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Where a funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Interment will be held at Angle Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Brennan was a faithful donor to the St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. Friends and family may make a contribution in her memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
