Florence L. Spicer
Florence Louise Spicer ( Hutton ) of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away, March 7, 2008 at Lorien-Riverside Nursing Center, Belcamp, Maryland. She was 83.
Mrs. Spicer was born in Oxford, PA to the Late Russell and Ruth Hutton. She was predeceased by her loving husband William Emory Spicer.
She was the loving mother to Roger G. Hutton and his wife Destiny of Texas, MD, Robert F. Barnes and his wife Shirley of Abingdon, MD, William A. Barnes of Abingdon, MD, Mary Joann Acker and her husband Theodore of Abingdon, MD, Shirley Hensley and her husband Cecil of Rising Sun, MD and the late Betty Jean Dutton.
Mrs. Spicer was a devoted grandmother of six: Bobbie Farrington of Abingdon, MD, Brenda Farrington of Abingdon, MD, Robert Barnes, Jr. of Conowingo, MD, Roger Barnes of Abingdon, MD, Becky Jablonski of Rising Sun, MD and Denise Dutton of Rising Sun, MD. She was the great-grandmother to ten: Destany Farrington of Abingdon, MD, Victoria Barnes of Conowingo, MD, Hunter Williams of Abingdon, MD, Noah Williams of Abingdon, MD, Elizabeth Trappe of Abingdon, MD, Tyler Barnes of Abingdon, MD, Brianna Barnes of Abingdon, MD, Tabatha Jablonski of Rising Sun, MD.
Mrs. Spicer was survived by her brother Charles Hutton of Darlington, MD, and the Late Donald and James Hutton. She was predeceased by her sister the Late Grace Hutton.
Mrs. Spicer was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and gardening.
