Floyd "Ray" Raymond Peyton, III, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on June 28, 2023. He was 76 years old.

Mr. Peyton was born in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of Marie Wickert. He was the devoted husband of 49 years to Michelle Peyton, loving father of Jessica (Steven) Hawkins, and Brendan Peyton. He was the grandfather of Brody Hawkins.

Mr. Peyton served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of Havre de Grace Elks Lodge and was Past Exalted Ruler twice. Mr. Peyton was also an avid golfer and a member of Swan Creek Golf and Country Club. Mr. Peyton was an avid and skilled photographer. He enjoyed gardening and playing guitar as well.

A visitation will be held on Friday, 7th of July, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Funeral services will be Friday, July 07, 2023 at 3:00 PM.
