Frederick "Freddy" Randolph Gillotte, Jr, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away peacefully at his home on July 2, 2024.

Born in Havre de Grace, Freddy was the son of the late Frederick Randolph Gillotte, Sr. and Betty Burchette Gillotte. He was a graduate of Havre de Grace High School and a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church. He had a passion for the outdoors and particularly waterfowl and wild turkeys. He was a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited, and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Izaak Walton League of America, and the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum. Fred enjoyed hunting ducks, geese and turkeys, as well as fishing and crabbing. He was happy any time he could be hunting or on the water. He also collected decoys and was a talented decoy carver. Above all, Freddy's number one love was his devotion to his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Alison O'Brien of Havre de Grace, four children, Megan Harris (Daniel), Courtney O'Brien (Laurie Bryda), Mark O'Brien (Maria) and Erin Chamish (Ben); 7 grandchildren, Bailey, Lucky, Finnegan, Charlie, Penny, Rylee and Stella; and 2 sisters, Vicki Eller (Grant) and Linda Packard (Charles).

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 927 Pulaski Hwy, Havre de Grace, MD on Saturday July 13, 2024 from 2-4 pm. A celebration of his life will be at the funeral home at 4:00 pm on July 13. Burial will be private.
