Obituary

Frederick Neal Little, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born on April 7, 1949, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Fred spent his life in Aberdeen for many years. He proudly served in the United States Army before building a long career as a crane operator at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Fred enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, attending classic car shows, and listening to Elvis Presley. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 47 and the Lions Club, where he enjoyed the fellowship and friendships he found through both organizations.

Known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, Fred was always ready to lend a hand to friends and neighbors, whether helping with a project or clearing snow after a storm. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, Myong, and looked forward to her home-cooked meals and the simple moments they shared together.

Fred leaves behind his beloved wife of 14 years, Myong Park; his son, Sean Little; his sisters, Ruth Maffei and Carol Hammen; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Velma Thomas Little and John William Little; his sisters, Doris Mayberry, Betty Little, Darlene Wyatt, Patricia Giddens, Margaret Moxley, and Janet Barr; and his brothers, David Little, Jimmy Little, and Howard Little.

Services to celebrate Fred's life will be announced at a later date.

Contributions in memory of Fred may be made to Johns Hopkins Cancer Center.
