Gladys Mae Strong, of Havre De Grace, Maryland, passed away on October 9, 2023. She was 86 years old.

Mrs. Strong was born in Aberdeen, MD, to William Hause and Esther Hause. She was the wife of the late Malcolm Carr Taylo Sr., loving mother of Violet Penrow, William "Eddie"(Denise) Scarborough, and the late Roy William Taylor and Malcolm Carr Taylor, Jr. She was the grandmother of Tim Hoskins, Kerry Penrow, Bethany Scarborough, Christian Penrow, James Scarborough, great-grandmother of Kayden Hoskins, and was predeceased by her siblings.

Mrs. Strong was the "Neighborhood Granny", and loved sitting on her porch and talking to all of her neighbors. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and cookouts with her family. Mrs. Strong loved shopping at Wal-Mart and was a fan of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, 12th of October, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre De Grace, Maryland. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 12, 2023,at 7:00 PM.
