Glenn Ray Deal

Glenn Ray Deal, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011. He was 64. He was born in Waynesboro, PA, to Rosalee F. Coleman Deal and the late Samuel A. Deal. He was the devoted husband of 43 years to Joan Ann Price Deal, the loving father of Joseph W. Deal of Fairfield, CA, and Samantha R. J. Deal and her fiancé, Ralph "R.C." Walls, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Josalynn Deal of Edgewood, MD, Brittany Deal, Aliyah Giles, and Cheyenne Chapman, III, of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the dear brother of Mark Deal, James Deal, and Dave Sinclair of Havre de Grace, MD, Korean May of Port Deposit, MD, and the late Marie Deal Johnson. Mr. Deal worked for Cytec Industries as a shipping and receiving leader. He played baseball for several years. He was an avid sports fan and loved going to baseball games. He loved watching the Orioles, Ironbirds, Ravens, Terps and ESPN. He was a member of the UAW Union and First Christian Church. He loved his grandchildren and his dog "Smokee". A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 10, from 6-9 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Tabor will officiate. Interment will be held at HarfordMemorialGardens.
