Grace R. M. Dennis, a devoted nurse, cherished family member, and faithful woman of deep kindness, died on September 7, 2026, at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She was 82. Born on July 8, 1944, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Grace carried throughout her life the warmth, steadiness, and sincerity that endeared her to all who knew her.

Grace graduated from Havre de Grace High School and later earned a degree in Nursing from the University of Miami. She devoted her professional life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse with the Harford County Health Department. In that work, she gave of herself with compassion and purpose, offering both skill and comfort to the community she served.

Those closest to Grace knew her as the kindest, most thoughtful, and genuine person. Her life was marked by quiet generosity and a steadfast devotion to others. She was deeply dedicated to her church, Churchville Presbyterian Church in Churchville, Maryland, where her faith and commitment were an abiding part of her life. For Grace, no accomplishment was dearer than her family, who remained her greatest pride and deepest joy. She was a proud member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Grace enjoyed quilting and was an avid collector of all things Coca-Cola.

She is survived by her son, Geoffrey Koger, and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Koger; her grandson, Robert Koger; her sister, Martha Dennis; her half-brother, Hugh Dennis; her half-sister, Rowena Siebert, and Rowena's husband, David Siebert, Sr.; her nieces, Suzanne Lent, Monica Graham, and Kim Cover; and her nephew, David Siebert, Jr. Each of them held a special place in Grace's heart, and her love for her family was one of the defining blessings of her life.

Grace was preceded in death by her father, Guy Graham Dennis, and her mother, Rowena Gilbert Harrison. Their memory remained part of the family story she carried forward with tenderness and grace. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Churchville Presbyterian Church, 2844 Churchville Road, Churchville, Maryland, where a funeral service will be held at 12 P.M., and burial will be at Churchville Presbyterian Cemetery.

Grace R. M. Dennis will be remembered for her caring spirit, her faithful heart, her life of service, and the love she gave so freely to her family, her church, and her community. Her memory will remain a lasting comfort to those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
