Harold "Lloyd" Beavers, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on August 26, 1942, in English, West Virginia, Harold dedicated his life to both his family and his career as a Military Equipment Tester at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Test Center in Maryland, where he served with pride and commitment. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for two years.
Harold was a man of profound faith, deeply rooted in his beliefs as a devoted member of Evangel Assembly of God. He found great solace in reading the Bible and spent countless hours in prayer, drawing strength from his spiritual conviction. Harold's life was a testament to his unwavering values and the love he held for those around him.
A family man to his core, Harold cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife, Ruby "Carol" Beavers, and their four sons: Charles (Lisa), Mark (Nancy), Bryan Sherri), and Tony Sarah). He delighted in being a grandfather to his grandchildren: Justin, Brittany, Megan, Noelle, Dylan, Meredith, Noah, Sara, and Selena. The love he had for them was evident in every shared laugh and cherished moment, creating lasting memories that will forever remain in their hearts. Harold is also survived by his sister, Brenda Beavers, who shared in the love and support that defined his family life.
Harold was preceded in death by: his parents, Virgil Beavers and Cora Lee Beavers, and siblings, Beulah Wyatt, Patricia Beavers, Virgil Beavers, Bobby Beavers, and Margaret Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in his memory to Evangel Assembly of God, P.O. Box 159, Aberdeen, MD 21001, supporting the programs that were dear to his heart.
Harold Lloyd Beavers will be greatly missed but never forgotten; his spirit will live on in the lives he touched and the faith he instilled in others.
