Harry C. Ward

Harry C. Ward of Havre de Grace, MD passed away at home on September 28, 2010 at the age of 86. He was the husband of 64 years to Cleo M. Ward.

Mr. Ward was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the Late William Cairnes and Maude B. (Gallion) Ward.

He was the father to Robert Ward and his partner Hope Russell; Jane Gordon and her husband Jeffrey. Mr. Ward was the grandfather to Christopher Ward, Steven Gordon and Lisa Gordon Deal. He was the great grandfather of four: Connor Ward, Cameron Gordon, Tucker and Ty Deal. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Bay Ward, Smith Ward, George Ward, Charles Ward, Madalean Asher and Elva Smith.

Mr. Ward was a member of the Joseph L. Davis American Legion and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He truly enjoyed his family and his grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2 at 11 AM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. with Pastor Neale Wirtanen of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, MD officiating.

Interment will be held at Wesleyan Chapel Cemetery in Aberdeen, MD.
