Hazel Elizabeth Norris
Hazel Elizabeth Norris (nee Ferguson), of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May, 24, 2012. She was 86.
She was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, to the late Elmer H. Ferguson and Vergie G. Sampson Ferguson.
She was the wife of the late Frank J. Norris, the dear sister of Leonard Ferguson, Sr., and his wife Eleanor Ferguson and Peggy Ferguson Sanford. She was predeceased by her brothers Elmer H. Ferguson, Jr., Leon Dennis and sister-in-law Nora Wright Dennis. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Norris worked as a switchboard operator for C&P Telephone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 12:30 PM. Rev. Ed Heydt will officiate. Pallbearers will be Leonard E. Ferguson, Jr., Steven T. Ferguson, Sr., and Daniel Ragan.
