Helen Monica Selwood, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on November 12, 2023. She was 77 years old.

Ms. Selwood was born in Dublin, Ireland to John Selwood and Eileen Neylon Selwood. She was the loving mother of Tatiana Menke Wills of Los Angeles, CA, and Gregory Neil Menke of Havre de Grace, MD, grandmother of Jarren Menke, Gregory John Menke, Liam Wills and Lilly Wills. She was the sister of Maureen Selwood, Jim Selwood (Julie), and the late Peter Selwood, and John Selwood.

Ms. Selwood was 3 ½ months shy of 50 years sobriety and was active with Alcoholics Anonymous for that time. She attained a Bachelors and Master's degree in social work from West Chester University. Ms. Selwood enjoyed helping others in the program and spending time talking with friends there.

Family will be holding a private ceremony.
