Herbert Ray Ham, Sr., formerly of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 25, 2018. He was 81.
Mr. Ham was born in Lansing, NC, to Farley Fred Ham and Ora Auslie Carpenter Ham. He was the devoted husband of the late Mildred Marie Ham, loving father of Anita Ham, Judy Brown, Steve Ham, Phyllis Reza, Herbert Ham Jr., Millie Appold, and Hazel Graybeal. Mr. Ham had 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 8 siblings.
Mr. Ham worked on the Theo Tharpe Farm. He loved watching and supporting his granddaughter's softball team and being with "the kids". He liked to attend the American Legion Post 47. Mr. Ham also liked walking trails.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from 5-7 PM, and Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 12-2 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM.
